She is currently President of the Foundation for Conscious Evolution, which she co-founded in 1990[7] with Sidney Lanier. Hubbard was featured in the 2006 film Entheogen: Awakening the Divine Within, a documentary about rediscovering an enchanted cosmos in the modern world.[8]
She is the subject of a biography by Neale Donald Walsh, The Mother of Invention: The Legacy of Barbara Marx Hubbard and the Future of "YOU."[9]
