For many years Dr. Holden was the medical director of the Primal Institute of Los Angeles. In 1983, H. Lawrence King wrote to Dr. Holden, informing him that he had heard that he was no longer associated with the Primal Institute and that he had had deep spiritual experiences. Larry invited him to attend the Summer convention of the International Primal Association.
